Governance

An area often not fully understood is the governance aspects in relation to Information Technology. IT is a mission critical component effecting every division of the business and should form an integral part of the governance plan. Regardless of the size of the company, if  the processes, systems and resources are not aligned with the corporate goals and strategies then the board exposures itself to major risks.

 

With over 25 years servicing client issues from the vendor side of the business, I offer a unique perspective on a number of risk issues. These include analysing existing systems, insight into the issues surrounding outsourcing, and integration risks with mergers & acquisitions.

 

In my mentoring practice I work with clients to implement compliance, risk and change management policies together with business continuity change and quality improvement initiatives. I also donate my time as a mentor with the Women in Business, Dept of State and Regional Development program and Social Ventures Australia, receiving personal satisfaction from imparting my knowledge and empowering others to achieve their ultimate business goals.
